2. Bias: (Gender) Discrimination

3. Analyze: The picture was taken in an job interview. The man is the interviewer and the woman is the interviewee. The woman is offered this job but it is not a permanent job, it just exists in a certain time because of her gender. The man said: “We can take you on, but we’ll have to let you go if a man needs your job”. He means that whenever a man applies for her job, his company is ready to dismiss her to get the job vacancy for that man.

2. Bias: (Race) discrimination

3. Analyze: This picture is the writers’ room where writers gather to discuss with each other. There are 5 white writers and only 1 black writer. The black writer is the token minority who—despite being present often—has no function in the overall plot, does little or nothing; meanwhile the white writers are responsible for higher positions and works. He sat alone and didn’t do anything and no one talked or discussed with him while the others were excitedly discussing together.

2. Bias: Stereotype

3. Analyze: This article shows the characteristics and good things of Hanoi people. Because it based on opinion without regard to individual differences in Hanoi, it is stereotype.

i am agree with you on the 1st and 2nd item, you make good descriptions as well as point out the reason why you think they are discrimination. however in the item 3, it would be better if you can cite some lines in the article which reflect the stereotype the most clearly instead of just adding a link and let reader find out. what is ” base on opinion” and what is ” individual difference”?

I agree with Long that you should quote some lines of the article. Moreover, I think it would be better if in item1 you clarify more about the gender discrimination in which men have more opportunities for jobs than women.
